Michael Rustom is a seasoned technology solutions consultant with nearly three decades of expertise in sales leadership and IT innovation. His strength lies in nurturing business growth through the organic expansion of services.
Michael grew up in Toronto, attending St. Michael’s Choir School in the historic Garden District. He earned a degree in Religious Studies and History from Queen’s University. His professional career began in 1997 as an outside sales representative for AT&T, where he excelled in securing new business within Toronto. Recognized as one of the top Account Executives in Canada, Michael was a perennial member of the President’s Club and swiftly transitioned to Carrier Services, where he managed and grew key service provider accounts.
Michael's career is marked by his ability to build client loyalty and surpass expectations. He worked as a territory and national account manager at various technology firms, introducing cutting-edge services across such diverse sectors as mining, financial technology, and government.
In 2005, Michael joined Scalar Decisions (now CDW) as an Account Executive. Here, he handled portfolios in Data Centre Infrastructure, IT Security, and Cloud Computing, alongside managing Technology Resale, Professional Services, and Managed Services. One of the highlights of his tenure was securing a contract to supply IT for the 2015 Pan Am Games. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to Director of Sales for Ontario and Quebec, and subsequently, Vice President of Sales.
In 2022, Michael ventured into entrepreneurship, founding his own IT consulting firm. Leveraging his extensive experience, he continues to tackle challenges with a unique blend of sales acumen and entrepreneurial spirit, driving successful IT project implementations for his clients.
